Can I search CVE data without creating an account?

Yes. The vulneraibility.com screener is open without an account or a credit card: you can search the analysed CVE corpus, filter by exploitation and severity signals, and read the per-CVE analysis pages directly. Accounts exist for the things that need to persist — your declared stack, alert routing and saved status — not for read access.

This is deliberate. A vulnerability lookup you cannot reach without signing up is a lookup you will not use in the middle of an incident, which is precisely when it should be fastest.

Each CVE page carries the same analysis the alerting uses: what it affects, whether exploitation is confirmed, whether a patch exists, and what action is indicated.

Sign-in becomes worthwhile once you want the feed filtered to your own inventory rather than searched by hand.
